Dave Batista is the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Championship. I am a huge fan of Batista! I jumped for joy when he won that title! I wanted to learn more about him and his career. Batista began his WWE career as Deacon Batista a heel enforcer for Reverend D-Von. In January of 2003 he joined Triple H, Ric Flair, and Randy Orton to become part of Evolution. He stayed with Evolution for quite some time, even after Randy Orton left Evolution. Then came the time when he was in the Royal Rumble. His Royal Rumble victory on January 30, 2005 earned him the right to participate in the main event of WrestleMania 21 against the champion of his choice. He made his choice to stay. Batista won his first World Heavyweight Championship on April 3, 2005 after defeating Triple H.
This triggered a series of events in the feud between the two of them. This evolved and evolved and led to Vengence. At Vengeance 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 26, Batista survived the pedigree and won the Hell in a Cell match following a Batista Bomb
